Lunch & Learn Take Aways: Corona Tracing Apps

Before our summer break, we had the great pleasure to hear insights about the Corona Tracing app from Ivette Djonova, project manager at Economiesuisse responsible for consumer politics and data privacy topics.

1

SwissCovid is suitable for supporting the cantonal authorities in contact tracing and can therefore be an important pillar in the containment of the pandemic.

2

The application enjoys a high level of legitimacy in terms of data protection, security and political aspects.

3

The ETH and EPFL and thus Switzerland, have played a relevant role in European developments with the decentralized storage approach.

4

Please use the application to make an important contribution to the fight against the pandemic.

5

The other protection rules – keep your distance and wear masks when there is a high density of people – still apply.

Thank you, dear Ivette, for taking us along the way and for the patient, clear and competent introductory presentation of the tracing app.
