Anna Heid, Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, shared with the attendees how she set up an agile hub at a pharmaceutical company. She is a graduate from HSG with a Ph.D. and a graduate from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering.

Anna was joined by Claudia Galliker, Recruiter at McKinsey, who happily answered any questions on McKinsey’s Digital Practice.

Key principles are around customer centricity, quick iterations and self-organizing, cross-functional teams

Several framework to implement agile WoW (ways of working) exist with one prominent one being Scrum

In Scrum, teams work in 2-4 weeks time-boxed iterations called Sprints

Sprints has several elements: Sprint planning, the daily stand-up, sprint review and sprint retrospective
